Sheriff Reeves has been happily married to his wife, Lynette, for 44 years. Terry and Lynette have two children and two grandchildren. Terry has a deep love for the people of Crowley County and can often be found at sporting events cheering on the Chargers. Terry and Lynette are also active with their church family.

Undersheriff Jonathan Mazzella
To the people of Crowley County, I have been serving your community since August of 2020. I am honored to take on the duties of Undersheriff in the administration of Sheriff Terry Reeves. I have served in law enforcement since 2006. I started my career in Rio Blanco County and spent 13 years in that area.
I am originally from the small town of Orion, IL and moved to Delta, CO when I was in middle school. I graduated from Delta High School and went to the Police Academy in 2003.
I reside in Ordway with my wife. We enjoy game nights with friends, cooking, and late walks around town with our dog, Mayhem. We also have two cats, Jack and Mitt. My wife and I have enjoyed many trips including Mexico, Iceland, and Ireland where we got engaged at the Cliffs of Moher.
I have one surviving parent; my mother, who is a nurse and a profound inspiration in my life. My late father served this country for 45 years between the US Navy and civil service.
I enjoy gardening, four wheeling, and watching baseball. Go Cubbies! I’m a fan of Star Trek, Marvel and Star Wars. You can often find me in the gym or online enjoying some games with friends. Please feel free to say hello if you see me out in public, I am always looking for good restaurant recommendations!

Undersheriff Jim Keen
In 2001 upon retiring from 20 plus years of U.S. Army Special Operations in the Airborne Rangers and 10th Special Forces Jim Keen received a Bachelor of Science from Mid-American Christian University and began a second career in Law Enforcement. Pueblo County Sheriff’s office was a great organization to work with and for. In 2020 Jim retired again from his position as the Afternoon Patrol Supervisor. Jim’s wife Roxie had recently retired after 20 plus years of nursing, and the couple thought they were done. Their prayer was, “Lord let us be of service”.
Four years ago, in August of 2021 Sheriff Reeves called Keen and asked him to be the Undersheriff or to at least have dinner with him. Keen was not interested but agreed to have dinner with Sheriff Reeves and brought him names and phone numbers of colleagues he felt would make Sheriff Reeves a good undersheriff. Keen told Sheriff Reeves he was not interested in the position but would pray about it. Later that same week Keen told his wife Roxie, “I don’t know what we are even praying about, I need to go look”. Keen did not think their prayer of Lord let us be of service had anything to do with law enforcement,
Long story short according to Keen, the last four years have been the best mission field of my life. I got to serve with some of the greatest people in Crowley County Sheriff’s Office and serve the wonderful citizens of Crowley County. Keen was able to witness Jesus Christ to lost souls while serving as the Undersheriff for Crowley County Sheriff’s Office.
At this point Keen is going to stick around to help prepare and train his replacement Undersheriff Jonathan Mazzella while being the secondary Undersheriff.
