Soltani Arrest

On Friday 21, 2023 Warrants were issued by the District Court of the 16th judicial District of Colorado, ordering the arrests of Jason and Joy Soltani for Child Abuse Resulting in Death, and Criminally negligent Homicide, concerning the death of their infant son in August of 2021. On April 24, 2023, Security staff from the Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado recognized the Soltani’s from a Facebook post and called the La Junta Police Department. The La Junta Police placed Both Jason and Joy Soltani in custody without incident. As of April 25, 2023, at 8:00 am both were still in custody at the Crowley County Jail. The Crowley County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the staff of the Otero Junior College and the La Junta Police Department for their assistance.
